The Glorious Goodwood Races.
The famous July races, described by King Edward VII as 'a garden party with racing tacked on' are world renowned. A firm fixture in the English summer Season for 200 years, all of society's cognoscenti descend on Goodwood each year to revel in its ravishing setting as well as to marvel at the world's top jockeys, trainers and horses as they battle it out on top of the Sussex Downs. Arundel Castle
Seat of The Dukes of Norfolk, Arundel Castle has been open to visitors seasonally for nearly 200 years! If you are able to climb the 131 steps up to the Keep, the views of the River Arun, the sea, the town and the Downs are worth the effort. The ancient tombs of the Norfolk family may be seen in the Fitzalan Chapel (included in the admission price).Walk through the walled gardens: the Chapel can only be reached from the Castle grounds. Chichester Harbour
Chichester Harbour lies west of Chichester, between Selsey and Hayling Island and consists of twenty-seven square miles of navigable water with
